This pristine site is very much like the original descriptions of the
actual site where these battles occurred.

|
The
Infantry will be re-creating the
“Battle of Westport”
on
huge fields surrounded by rolling wooded hills. |
The Cavalry
(Mounted, dismounted) will be fighting along the river as well as
across and thru similar ground while they re-create the
“Battle of Big Blue” |
|
|
Both battles will occur at the same time in different areas close to each
other so you will feel and hear the same as the men did at the actual
battle.
|
Commanders, here is your opportunity to see what you and your men
can do under fire.
|
There will be unscripted battles as well so come prepared to fight all
weekend. Camps are your choice. There is gorgeous sites for those who
wish to set up permanent camps or for those who wish to campaign.
All are within close distance to all battle sites so you are never far
from either location.
|
Early
registration is desired, (see registration link) usual amenities, hay,
water, straw, and a LARGE area for all to enjoy.
|
For any unit that can attend on Friday, this area is perfect for your
UNIT Training Camp if you desire.
|

Battles begin Saturday at: ???? Sunday scripted Battle at 1:30 PM. |
